Moringa protein energy bars

Moringa has shown to effectively boost energy, reduce fatigue and help anxiety. It is also referred to as nature's multi-vitamin therefore a great daily supplement for many deficiencies & as a daily supplement in general. 

But finding the right way to use Moringa powder can be tricky so here's an easy way to make it into a healthy, convenient snack!

Ingredients

• 2/3 cup popped quinoa
• 1/2 cup buckwheat
• 1 cup almonds. roughly chopped
•. 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
• 1/2 cup dried fruit of choice (I used dates )
• 1/3 cup agave syrup
• 2 tbsp tahini
• 1-2 tbsp Moringa powder
• 1 tbsp Coconut oil, melted

For topping : 150 g dark Chocolate, melted

Method

1 Combine all the ingredients with a spatula in a bowl until you have a sticky mass
2 Press the mass in a rectangular tin and freeze for 1 h
3 Pour melted chocolate over
4 Freeze again for 40 min -1h , then slice in the shape you like
5 They can be stored in an air tight container up to 1 week.
